Experience. Richard is the owner of Coastal Home Inspection Services. He has nearly 25 years experience in the private and public sector of the engineering/construction industry. He is a licensed professional engineer, professional planner, certified municipal engineer, certified public works manager, licensed home inspector, and NJDEP Ceritfied Radon Measurement Technician.
Education and Training. Richard obtained his Associates Degree in Civil/Construction Engineering Technology from Middlesex County College and transferred to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology. Soon after working as an engineering consultant, he enrolled in the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University and obtained a degree of Master of City and Regional Planning (MCRP). While working as a home inspector, he attended the Eastern Regional Radon Training Center at Rutgers University and successfully passed the NJ Radon Measurement Technician exam. Richard continues to attend professional workshops, conferences, and courses in order to be aware of current practices and regulations for his diverse work field.
Ryan R. Krause
Experience. Ryan is a Home Inspector with Coastal Home Inspection Services. He has over 15 years of experience in the engineering/construction industry. He is a licensed professional engineer, certified municipal engineer, S-1 sewer licensed operator, and licensed home inspector. Ryan has acted as general contractor on residential home projects as well as project manager for multi million dollar construction projects.
Education and Training. Ryan obtained his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University and is continually supplementing his education through professional workshops, conferences and courses.
